On Saturday I set off on the Mongol Rally, 8-9000miles a third of the way round the world in Sanchez the Rascal and I have just found out that my speedometer doesn't work, the cable coming out of the gearbox had split, so I am now in desperate search for a cable, with the little spinny bit on the end. So the whole cable from end to end
Does anyone have one? I will pay for the fastest possible courier service, or can collect at the last minute on friday afternoon from london or somewhere along the M1.
Could do with it A for speed cameras, and B- so we can log our miles in their glorious entirety.

| Can't help you with a cable but if you don't find one in time take a sat nav. It will show you how fast you are going and the amount of miles your journey is. |

I would mate but we'd get arrested for it in Russia, sat navs count as spying material! We were gutted when we found out, they won't work in Kazakhstan anyway

I saw that one on Ebay, it looks like an accelerator cable though,
I've been in touch with a lady who may have one, I'll see what she says and if we have no luck I'll ring bedfordrascal.

Have you tried findapart.co.uk They have a phone number you can call but I think it's a premium rate number.. If not, there is a guy called Derek that is a rascal expert in Essex. His number is 0787 961 5056 He is a lovely bloke as Mattyc will testify. If he doesn't have one, he may well know where you can get one in a hurry.
